Math take 2!

For math centers this week, we have been working on some new games-

Play dough numbers- we used really stiff modeling clay to strengthen hand muscles. This is easy to do at home!

We made apples out of red construction paper.

We made creations using unifix cubes and following a direction card. We will use these with partners soon.

We read "The Shape of Things" and made our first avenger shape pictures. What did you turn your circle into? Here we have a car, Ferris wheel, person, flower, and Apple tree.

We have been working on different kinds of puzzles- we are close to starting our 100 piece puzzles! These are great to do at home. After the puzzle is finished, the group takes turns playing "I Spy" about some things they notice in the puzzle.
