Little red riding hood science lab

For science lab today, we pretended we were little red riding hood bringing apples to grandmas house. We read a book about apples and shared what we know about apples. Each partnership then got 1 apple and drew exactly what they saw, like a scientist would. They then got to (carefully!) use a plastic knife to cut the apple in half. We counted the seeds, drew the inside of the apple, and cut apart some pieces. We also did a taste test and tried a red delicious apple, a Granny Smith, and a golden delicious apple. We made a graph of the results and noticed which one had the most and least.
